Instrument Specific Spaces

The $23-million, 58,000-square-foot, four-story music building features large ensemble, choral and jazz rehearsal spaces, small ensemble and practice rooms to support small and large music groups of all types. The faculty studios are organized into instrument-specific suites.

State-of-the-Art Venues

The facility also includes numerous technology rich classrooms, digital audio workstations rooms and recording studio. The School of Music is connected to the McKnight Performing Arts Center which includes an intimate, 217-seat, recital hall and the 1,035-seat performance hall. This gives faculty and students access to state-of-the-art performance venues to share their art and passion.
